Straining at gnats. The statistical evidence for these sorts of advice
is so thin as to be in fact useless.

Smoking knocks something like 8 years off the average smokers life.
That is a strong statistical corrolation. Chewing tobacco knocks off 3
months, with a much lower corrolation. Grilled meat? Not even in the
game.
