HI, If you are talking Sprint PCS, get your elderly friend/relative the model RL-2000 phone. It is one of the larger phones currently available, has a big display, a large--by today's standards--battery, and nicely spaced, relatively big buttons. It also has the capability to do Sprint's "Ready LInk", their "walkie-talkie" feature if the subscriber pays extra for that service. It does not do camera, pictures, and a whole lot of the other things that smaller phones do like the ones you described so aptly and said you don't want. I think that RL-2000 model is made by Samsung. Oh, it doesn't talk. Reply to: [log in to unmask] Brent Reynolds, Atlanta, GA USA VICUG-L is the Visually Impaired Computer User Group List.
