Would the blood alcohol level, as determined by a breathalyzer test, be
altered in the untreated celiac individual?

For example:

Is the alcohol absorbed more slowly due the malabsorption of the small
intestine thereby causing an individual to "blow" at a higher level?

Is alcohol absorbed and distributed in the body in the same way as the
healthy individual?

Does it take more or less alcohol to become impaired? Or is it the
length of time it takes to become impaired? i.e. if the absorption is
slower then one would become impaired more slowly?

I am referring to the alcohol from wine.

Please respond with scientific evidence based facts.

Thank you
