Any thoughts on whether wild rice would work as well as sweet potato.  I
remember wild rice came up a while back and I believe the consensus was
that it is actually a grass, not a grain, but it cannot to my knowledge be
eaten raw.

Also, any thoughts on whether steamed carrots (starchy) would work?  I
think that when carrots are eaten raw the carbs are less bioavailable --
but I could be mistaken.  Anyone?
