I've been using TaxAct since 1999 and from ordering off the www.taxact.com web page to actually using the software to prepare my taxes I have been very satisfied -- I am totally blind and use JAWS. And, in contrast to the norm, the TaxAct software has been evolving to be more accessible since I first used it. As for Turbo Tax, I had ordered it in 1999 because a friend assured me that all data was entered in little balloons and it was very easy to use. It turned out that his wife actually entered the data for their tax preparations, I found out to my dismay that I couldn't use that software at all unless I wanted somebody else to enter the data for me. But since my wife can't see either and my purpose for using tax software was to maintain privacy this was/is not an option. ---------------- Bill Gallik E-Mail: [log in to unmask] VICUG-L is the Visually Impaired Computer User Group List.
