I have used this case in the USB 2.0 only model and it is not that well made but works fine for the price. I use it on a regular basis for data recovery and transfer and have for the last year or so w/o any problems. I wouldn't recommend it if you need to take it apart very often. I put a removable HD tray in it so I could swap out HDs w/o taking it apart. Also if you just need a removable HD or CD-DVD burner buying an already assemble unit is probably a better idea. Good luck.
