Mr Owens

I would concur with Yus and you that the blame was evenly distrubuted not only one sided , Kukoi , the old regime and even the new have a lot to answer to . What we have to do is to know the facts , then forgive and proceed as they are doing in south africa.

Matarr Sarr and Saul Samba were close  friends .( may their souls rest in peace)  What really happened was a partial precorsur  to later events-  imho . Some sited spousal and or  financial reasons others say it was political or tribal  . The incident happened in my late uncle Ali jacobs residence near the water tank in Fajara .I was in Banjul the day it happened and the double mass  funerals ( attended by the same greiving families) that same day was in itself a a first time wake up which should have been properly investicated and who knows we would never had had a single coup and changes would have come its natural way . It was the first time I saw so many young people attend a funeral in Banjul and riot police were on stand by for a possible outbreak of violence which never happened due to Imam Lamin  who preaced peach and constraint . May his soul rest in peace too

good day
