Thanks Ian,  I don't have graphics on the mobo.  It's a separate AGP card.
The artifacting gets worse the longer I have solitaire/freecell open but now
I'm noticing errant pixels in other programs too.  I've got the cover off the
computer but I don't think that's making any difference.
