THAT is the problem! If I rename my *pwl files I do get a Window Logon screen. I just click enter and that takes care of that. At the end of the boot THEN I get the Network Logon Screen. It doesn't seem to have any effect because I don't have to log on to use the Internet. The whole computer is set up for one user.

How can it be a Network Logon Screen if you have been set for Windows Logon?
Is it a windows logon screen? If so then go to control panel\Users and
  remove the existing user.
