the infrastucture has been detieriating for 30 years while saddam put the money into the military. not all was destroyed by our bombing, but, yess, we do need to concentrate on that. we have engineers there to do that, however it is hard to run pipe when being fired upon, so some military action has to continue. i agree with deri, we should not flunt the stuff. i too do not mind the gis getting it, but hell yes the infrastucture needs to be rebuilt and brought up to date if necessary. once that is done, i think the iraqi populus will be less hostile and even cooperative. i do not wish to be critical since i am not totally aware of what is involved in rebuilding that intrastructure. --- Kat <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > I have to agree with you on that, Deri.
