That's interesting. Could it be that seasalt is a substitute for animal
blood, something that most people no longer consume. I have drunk blood and
it has been tasty, and I used to love blood sausage.

I avoid combining my food with salt. When I need salt, which I seem to do
very seldom, I eat it alone. Either I sip seawater or a combination of pure
water and seasalt, or I suck crystals of seasalt, until I'm satisfied. (I
avoid refined salt and false seasalt.)
