Hmm......., http://tinyurl.com/8gu0 is only a link to the Microsoft page on
the Shutdown problem, anyway.

There doesn't seem to be anything new here.  As I said earlier, the Shutdown
bug CAN sometimes be fixed quickly.  But that's never been my experience.
And using the Microsoft patch\supplement MAY fix it, but if it doesn't, it
will compound the problem.
