<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> I just read a message about Imagine Foods' Soy Dream beverages causing a gluten reaction. I know there is some question about Whitewave Silk beverages as well. This concerns me. In both cases, the manufacturers list the products in question as gluten-free. How are we supposed to make an informed choice if, apparently, even when the manufacturer claims a product is gluten-free it is causing a gluten reaction. Can anyone offer some advice on this? Is it commonly a case of another ingredient causing a reaction that mimics a gluten response? It is difficult enough to follow a gluten-free diet; adding in the possibility that manufacturers are giving out wrong information about their products' gluten content just makes a bad situation worse. I need to know how other celiacs handle this. I had settled on Soy Dream as my soy milk of choice because Imagine says that it is both gluten and dairy free. If I can't believe them who can I believe? Frustrated, Michelle *Support summarization of posts, reply to the SENDER not the CELIAC List*
