From the start menu, select settings,
then control panel, then system, then properties.

This may get you some of what you want.

To find the size of the hard disk,, bring up "my computer"and
right click on "local disk" usually drive c:

the first screen yu get should have space used, free space and
capacity.

some of this was taken from a windows ME computer, some from a
win95 book, but we
think it should work.

finding the processor speed is harder, it usually shows when the
computer boots, you'll need sighted help.

You can determine the ports available most easilly by checking
out the connectors on the back unless it has been messed with by a
weird hardware geek <G>
