I have a new IBM Thinkpad with Win 2000. The Thinkpad has no PS2 port and I have a standard, no frills, PS2 keyboard that just fits on my small keyboard tray. I want to keep it and have gotten a PS2 to USB connector. When I attached it and plugged it in Windows detected it as a plug and play device but couldn't find a driver and the installation failed. The keyboard doesn't work and since then I've rebooted numerous times and detached/attached the keyboard but don't see it detected any more. I see only 1 keyboard in the device manager and didn't see any options in the BIOS that had anything to do with an external keyboard. Does anyone know how I can get this keyboard installed and working. Thanks, Joe Trimarchi Visit our website regularly for FAQs, articles, how-to's, tech tips and much more http://freepctech.com
