First of all, thank you for welcoming me! I have a mother and two brothers. One of the brothers is one year younger than me. The other one is 13. He's name is Johan. When I visit my family members, I always present them my new ideas, speculations and what I've read about health. I don't give any advice. I let them decide for themselves what they want to do with the given information. They always listen to me patiently but only my mother and the younger brother seem to react. The older one is an artist :). In the beginning of 2002 I told them that I no longer eat refined sugar and products containing refined sugar, and I explained why. Johan and my mother decided to do like me, but after a while they ate refined sugar products again. I explained them once more with other terms the reason why I avoid refined sugar and told them which products contain it. My mother hasn't probably eaten any refined sugar products since then, only under extreme social pressure, she has told me, but Johan soon ate them again. He understood that I didn't like it, so he begged me to explain things once again but with simpler terms. I summarized the information with one and only one sentence: "Refined sugar is poison!". That did the trick. I truly admire him now. When he's given cand ies or cookies with other kids when not at home, he takes them and uses them to make business with other kids or to "drug them". When he becomes older I'll loan him my copy of "Sugar Blues". The benefits? My concentration became sharper. My stomach felt better. My mothers cellulites disappeared almost completely. Johan was no longer hyperactive and nervous. In the summer of 2002 I told my family what I had read about pasteurized milk and pasteurized milk products and they immediately stopped consuming these things. I was amazed over my power. My mother soon established contact with a local farmer who now provides her and Johan with raw milk. They love it. Too bad I can't join them. After drinking raw milk a couple of times I suddenly became very weak. I avoided raw milk until I regained some strenght and then tried it again with the same result. In the beginning of autumn 2002 I told my family wh at I had read about cereal grains and about my decision to avoid seeds and potatos altogether. I told them that my decision to avoid ALL seeds was very speculative. Their reaction was to do like me. My power over them started to scare me. I pointed out several times that I was only experimenting and that they only had to look around themselves to realise that some people live long, apparently healthy lives on cereal grains and other seeds, and different products of grains and other seeds. But they continued to do like me. My mothers cellulites vanished completely. Her look became younger and fresher. She noticed it herself too. She stopped talking about her weight all the time because it had somehow become normal and stabilized. My friends and relatives? Not all know what I'm up to. Most of those who do accept my lifestyle but seem to think I'm strange, because, as they say, everybody eats candies, cookie s, milk products and bread. "People have done it for hundreds of years!" Some of my relatives and acquaintances have said that I'm steeling Johan the joy of childhood, because he doesn't eat icecream and stuff like other kids. They have expressed their concern that Johan doesn't get all the nutrient he needs to grow up. This is what I usually eat: (My mother and Johan have a much broader menu.) FRUITS: apples, oranges and rose hip VEGETABLES: carrots and cabbage NUTS: hazelnuts and walnuts FAT: lard, suet and bone marrow ORGANS: calf liver ANIMAL-MEAT: lamb, beef amd moose FISH: salmon, mackerels and sardines BIRDS: chicken EGGS This menu is very narrow, but I feel just fine on it, for now, and it doesn't mean I don't like all other sorts of fruits, vegetables, animals, birds and fishes. If you find that this menu lacks some essential nutrie nt, please let me know, because my knowledge about biochemistry is not sufficient to determine that. I eat fruits, vegetables and nuts uncooked. They taste much better that way I think. I like my meat dried or slightly cooked on the surface. One of the things I like a lot is cooked fishheads. I only eat when I'm hungry. I usually am not hungry before noon. Maybe I've been too honest with my introduction and information about myself, but I hope I have landed among good people. Fredrik
