I feel the need to give caution when fasting for the purpose of weight loss.
Fasting for certain health condition can give incredible results.

It is VERY easy to binge eat after fasting for a few days.  A degree of
discipline is necessary for about 2 weeks after a fast. It is easier to
control yourself if you eat a low carb diet when breaking the fast.

Even though Dr. Bernarr comes across as pompous, he is right about the need
for rest during a fast for disease relief.
