Cordain, A.Simopulous,Ben Best ... Yes, this is what is so confusing. I would like to add more kinds of nuts (limited amounts though because I am trying to lose weight) to my diet aside from macadamias for variety -- but have not done so lately because macadamia's contain predominantly monosaturated fat w/very little omega-6. Since I've experienced some good results from the Omega-3 I get from sardines, salmon & occassional fish oil supplementation, I do not want to upset this with the relatively high amounts of Omega-6 found in virtually all other nuts. When I supplemented with ground flaxseed (which tastes excellent), I experienced signs of increased skin inflammation . Is it possible that some people are more sensitive to LA & LNA?
