It seems that the Judge, in his desire to make this case watertight, did decide to give the Government one last chance to produce Mr Fransisco Caso in court; hence the adjourning of today's court hearing until Feb. 25th and 26th. (Take note also that the Judge is going to Mecca tonight to perform the Hajj). After the adjournment, one of the defense lawyers had remarked as follows: "Good, the judge is giving them a long rope to hang themselves." The accused persons were, of course, very diappointed but it seemed Dumo Saho understood the reasons and trusted the Judge; so he (Dumo)in fact, comforted the other accused persons. The only positive thing I can see about this delay is that I'll be around next time. It would feel very right to be in place when Dumo is finally released - inshallah... Let's just hope that the judge gets back strong and healthy from his Hajj. _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8: smart spam protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To unsubscribe/subscribe or view archives of postings, go to the Gambia-L Web interface at: http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/archives/gambia-l.html To contact the List Management, please send an e-mail to: [log in to unmask] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
