I concur with your response to the last contributor who said we should not stick our noses in the democratic crisis and Trent Lott's remarks. I beg to differ.

Our children are US citizens  by their birth rights  and we have to protect their interests and ours too . We cannot solve all the problems in the Gambia nor the USA but we can surely try to make a difference in our own grassroots ways.
