Hi Beth, I was reading a magazine on adoption while I was waiting for Alex at the Jewish Social Service Agency. I can share some of the stuff I was reading. I already becasue I mentioned that some foreign don't have a problem with disabled parents. It also mentioned several countries like Poland who have kids they want to place. I have friends who have adopted who would no doubt be willing to talk to you. In fact 2 friends - one adopted a child from China and one a child from Paraguy. Both kids are really super. Oh and a family at chiurch got a child from India. Wow guess I know than I thought. Next time I take Alex to therapy - I can find out the name of the magazine there. When I was looking to adopt - I was looking for a special needs kid. But I ended up with Amber - now ex-step sister and now I have Alex. Please hang in there - there is child who needs you!! Brightest Blessings - Trisha > Thank you all for your support. This adoption stuff is a lot harder than > it > looks. Seems even though everyone tells you there are lots of children to > be adopted, getting there is a lot of hurdles and more money, even > adopting > an older child like we plan. > > > Beth T. The OT
