A long-distance friend of mine is battling cancer (AND type II diabetes AND
Cushings) and recently went to a clinic in Mexico (for the cancer) where
they put her on a low-fat vegetarian diet.  The last thing an
insulin-dependent diabetic needs is a carrot juice cocktail.

But I digress.  I was finally able to talk to her; she's curious about the
Paleo diet and open to anything.  Anyone out there have articles or other
documentation on diet and cancer?  I'll take whatever I can get.

As for the carrot juice cocktail reference, she's eating primarily juiced
vegetables, little if any fat and her protein source is beans.  She does
not, however, eat soy beans.  She clearly needs more protein!
