Certainly, if that is what you meant.

There is an unresolved (and unaddressed) question here.  The bulk of the
beef we eat comes from castrated bulls, known as <steers>.  They are
castrated for a number of reasons, one of which is to increase the amount
of fat on them.

I don't know if it makes any difference whatsoever; but the answer is not
obvious and I'd like to know.

One thing is for sure, there were no <steers> during the Pleistocene!
