Don't get me wrong, I love my family, but, I am paying a big price in pain
to do what is right by them as long as I can drag into this office. I had to
discuss going on extended leave with the doctor Tuesday. I may have to just
give up the fight and retire. I do not want to have to take ben out of
school and move, but, ecconomically atlanta or any big city is not the place
to be on a fixed income.

Ken,

I'm with you on the kids part, but if you're up front with a potential mate
then that might be a mitigating factor. Problem is, with many of us CPer's,
we were led to believe that our physical conditions would not worsen. Now
that they have, a spouse might feel "cheated". It's a hard call.

Well, if I were single, I'd just retire, I'd not be considering how my
failing physical condition was affecting a wife and kids.

You dicide on what you want to do and not do. You don't decide what are we
going to do and where are we going.
