Well, I'm back from my talk with McDonald's. I asked for and received a tour
of how the food is made in the back. There is never any cheese on the grill.
The grilled chicken (that has milk in it) is grilled on a different part of
the grill. They change gloves approximately every twenty minutes. I asked
if the gloves could be changed before our order was made and I was told yes.

Either his hamburger was assembled by someone who hadn't changed gloves in a
while or they slapped a piece of cheese on the burger thinking it supposed to
be a cheese burger and then took it off. That's all I can think of that
could have happened.

Just another lesson in how a safe food is not always safe.

I did stop at Burger King too. I had less luck there. The manager on duty
looked at me like I had grown a second head or something. I was given better
answers by the kid working the line regarding how things are done than the
manager who would only talk to me in spurts while she took orders. I asked
if I could order a kids meal but have it made with the BK homestyle bun since
it doesn't contain milk. At first she said yes, then no because they are
counted. I asked about requesting that gloves be changed before the order
was made and I was told no.

I am feeling paranoid about feeding my son, again. Can I scream on this
list? ARGH !!!!
