Hi -

Is there a reason that the fat needs to be in the milk? In our house,
the dietary fat is elsewhere in the diet, not in fluids at all. (For
fluids our son had calcium-enriched ricemilk until he he started refusing
it at age 4, and calcium-enriched OJ ever since. Heavily cut with water.
At age 6, he's finally agreed to drink plain water :-)

If your son is very small, you're probably thinking of milk as a replacment
for formula or breastmilk. Don't. You wean from formula/breastmilk NOT
to cow's milk (or a substitute) but to a well-balanced diet.

I hope this helps,
