Pulling the thing backward after pushing it forward is *tough*! When I would vacuum with a self-propelled vac, I would vac as if I were mowing the lawn. I would go forward until I hit something and then turn around and go in the opposite direction, which means I take longer (i.e., standing up and walking around longer). We now have this cannister vac that my husband and I thought would be easier for me. However, it turned out to be harder!
