This will normally be the Guest account password, in the Windows 2000
users list. This account is disabled by default.
If this is a share you use regularly, better to add your username and
logon password from your other computer to the Win2k user's. Then you
won't be prompted.

I have a computer running Windows 2000, but everytime I try to see the
Shared Folders of the computer with Windows 2000 the computer asks me
for a password.  The probelm is I have not assigned any passwords for
this computer so how do i know what the password is ?
