I agree with you on the difficulty of CR.  The continuous hunger,
weakness from loss of muscle, and loss of sex drive are high prices to
pay for longevity.  Years ago, I went on Weight Watchers, and the
caloric "allowance" that they prescribed for me seemed quite low --
something like 1,600 cal/day.  Well, I lost a lot of weight, even going
below 200 pounds, but eventually I began to feel pretty bad, and I was
*always* hungry.

I am resigned to the fact that in order to lose weight and keep it off
I must endure *some* hunger, some of the time, but that's quite
different from continuous gnawing hunger.
