if he is indeed mentally retarded. -----Original Message----- From: Anthony Arnold To: [log in to unmask] Sent: 6/1/2002 2:38 PM Subject: Re: What Happened At Cornerstone KJP, I realize that you might not want to discuss this anymore, which is understandable. But, I was wondering if they did anything else to the client other than having him apology. This is one area in the disability field, I feel we need to get better in, instead of just having the individual say sorry and receive nothing more. I know you can't lock a mentally retarded person up in jail, but they aren't learning anything by the way we're handling these matters now. First of all , I kept was inconvenient (sp (wetting my pants). This happened every Thursday when I was there. I have had one accident since I have been back with my parents and that was because nobody was around but me and I can't go to the bathroom by myself very well or easily because I have a physical disability called Cerebral Palsy . The last Thursday when I was at Cornerstone , I had the runs so I was put in depends (adult diapers). Well , they (Cornerstone Staff) gave me a fleet to make me have a Bowel Movement. And , Boy, did I go a lot. Now comes the hard part , I don't know as this was some sort of abuse or not. I was said to come here so I did. I was asked if I would go to bed with him by a particular client. This particular client then asked me if I would love him. That was hard and I cried and cried most of that afternoon. Yes , I reported that to Cornerstone Staff within minutes or seconds of that incident. I was apologied too by that particular client that day and several times after that day, I don't know if the following incident happened the same time as above , But That Particular client (the same person) said , "We can't do shit." __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
