Subject: Re: [PCBUILD] Dual Boot Win NT & 2000

Yes, I want to physically switch drives ( C as D & D as C ie boot to
non-boot and viceversa) to be able to install Win2K on a clean bootable
drive and boot from Win2K environment. So that I feel secure my
appellations will be running with no glitches within Win2K environment when
I decide to wipe off NT4.

Hi Aumm,
Here is a simple solution to your problem. I have been using a hard
drive switch (Trios) for 2 years now. I run 3 hard drives in my CPU, with
Win98SD on 1, Win 2000 Professional on the second drive, and XP on the
third drive. It installs in a bay just like a CD-rom with a cable from the
primary channel to the line side of the switch and a cable from the 3
switches to each of the hard drives. Very simple to hook up and none of the
hassle of using a boot program. You want to switch to a different OS just
reboot and push a switch. Mine has never given a problem in the 2 years
that I have had it. I bought mine at Tiger direct but they are available at
other places on the net.
