it melted down.....then perhaps strained out whatever
solids remained...........
I know copper was worked for ornaments and such
by pre-contact native tribes....there's quite a bit of
such stuff in museums.....but I haven't seen any
pots made of this copper......
My own experiment with making pemmican went OK
I guess.....taste OK.....not great.....but I was surprised
at how hard the little cakes of stuff are.....
