Ngorr, well said. This ‘marriage’ between Yaya and Wade would NOT last, just like Mbeki CANNOT cuddle a loose-canon like Mugabe for too long. Something has to give. Either the tyrants change their ways or the decent folks have to cut them loose. It was interesting to learn that ‘mysteriously’ NONE of Wade’s comments about the ‘development in Gambia and respect for rule of law’ was aired on Senegalese TV. Wade knows that he is fooling no one except Yaya and his gullible handlers. I checked with Senegalese friends and the only thing they saw was Wade’s departure and arrival at airports. The ridiculous statements about Yaya’s government and the ‘fighter jet’ was not shown to the people. Wade knows he CANNOT fool the Senegalese public. He CANNOT also fool us. Ngorr, thanks again for your contributions. As you said, this is a classic Ponzi Scheme; i.e. Yaya discarding his Casamance supporters when he did not need them anymore.
