Well, let's see, I was born in 1953 so that puts me there with the 1960s
sitcoms like "Bewitched," "Beverly Hillbillies," "The Brady Bunch," etc.
etc., none of them memorable. The sitcoms in the 1970s and 1980s were more
my style. Now they've gone all the way to just plain mean and stupid. Well,
I take that back. I do like "Friends," "Will & Grace," "Frazier," and
"Scrubs" but that's about it.

Oh I agree comedians are going for the cheap laughs now. Takes a lot less
effort and brainpower, don't you know?

I miss shows like "The Cosby Show," "MASH," and "All in the Family." They
were in a class by themeselves.

This requires work, talent and intelligence. All missing from most of
today's
"comedians". That was Kyle's point.
