Yes, Jung was a genius in his field, but to really get at myths and folklore and their origins, James Fraser's 'The Golden Bough' is a classic, as well as Thomas Bulfinch's 'Mythology.' Both are fascinating reading.

Reminds me of Carl Jung and "Man and His Symbols". Jung was the TRUE genius
of the 20th Century in my book.
