Hi, Kat, It was the neurologist, and not the neurosurgeon, who sent the e-mail back to me saying not to bother him, that if all of his patients e-mailed him as much as I DID, HE WOULD NEVER GET ANY WORK DONE, AND THAT HE WAS NOT GOING TO HARASS DR. PARRENT (the neurosurgeon), regarding my date and time of pump placement. They have not even given me a date or time yet. From my point of view, I AM JUST TRYING TO GET INFORMATION ANY PATIENT WOULD WANT IF THEY ARE BOOKING SURGERY. I don't mean to bother this physician, but have not written back because I DON'T REALLY WANT MY HEAD BITTEN OFF. And I can't get a new neurologist because he is the one to deal with the intrathecal pump program. All I need to do is to be seen as trouble and for them to deny me a pump. No one seems to see that I am human and would not be begging shamelessly if the trial had not helped so much with regards to my pain. It just seems like nothing can go my way-- not Botox, the rhizotomy I had so much hope for that only half-worked. I am just so tired, and no one sees that. I AM NEAR MY BREAKING POINT, BUT NEED HELP WITH PAIN AND PUMP IMPLANTATION, NOTHING ELSE. ALL I need is to be sent to a psychiatrist... Can't I just meet one doctor who sees what my needs are and does what needs to be done, no questions and no stipulations. I just want my life back, an scared I won't complete this term at school because of the pain (which the Intrathecal Trial took away). I don't know who to go to, or who to depend on... Jenn
