<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> I have called many companies over the past few months, trying to find out what I can and can't eat. Some of the most helpful have been Kroger, Hormel, and Colgate, and Jimmy Dean Sausage. Kroger does not publish GF information on their website, according to the representative, because they want to keep everything absolutely up to date, and with so many manufacturers to contend with, they do it better on the phone. You sausage lovers should know that most of Kroger Brand sausages are GF. Call for details! I called Hormel about Black Label Bacon, which is GF. She gave me an extensive list of other things that I like, and are GF. All Colgate toothpaste is GF, as an extensive list of other products. On request, they will mail that list. All Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage is GF. I appreciate it when I call, and someone who has the knowledge and the desire to help me comes on line. Then when he or (usually) she tells me something will be mailed, I get it before too long. So far, we are not appreciated for the large market that we are. And of course, a market segment not at all likely to be fickle. Over time, as this becomes more clear, with better and more timely diagnosis, and better publicity organizations working on our behalf, most companies will have good information, politely and effectively given. But for now, I appreciate the ones who do it already! Mike
