Michael:

The mind is a most amazing thing, with all its Magic and Darkness. It is all too often that we get visited by such Darkness, through others or ourselves. At times, the Darkness can cause the stone to refuse the Magic of the carver's touch.  The Darkness can deaden the heart to the Magic and the Light from those dear to us. Understanding that Darkness is generally beyond our ability. And thank goodness that for most of us, for most of the time, we can defeat the Darkness with the Magic that is all around us.

In Monroe, VA, at the Lime gathering, I would be pleased to join you for a moment of silence and a toast for the Magic of Jeep Kincannon.

ILL Wind
An ill wind blew down from the Texas
run broke cross  Arkansas
casting  floods  on the  Delta
leaving Death at my door

Kincannon ; the gifted sensitive
stonecutter and carver
Brother to the Guild and son of the Cathedral
leaving no rhyme or reason
placed his tools in their locker
and stepped from his workbench wearing a rope
for a collar

In the dead of  my night
The wind is moist and sticky
and my fire burns low in darkness
The  mind torments racing  for answers
As the   soul lays  naked  waiting in  hope
yet there is nothing;
nothing
only the rustle of dead leaves
and a scratching of helpless  limb
to  the heart of the house
