I wish to commend the UDP/ppp/gpp alliance for their honourable decision to boycott the upcoming parliamentary elections. The alliance is a group of folk with mass appeal and to have the gravitasse to sede their political capital in protest of the dishonorable conduct of theft and deceipt by the IEC acting on the exclusive behalf of APRC, is both brave and substantive.

I wish my party of choice-PDOIS-will examine the conduct of the IEC during the presidential elections and vindicate the assertions of the UDP and demand a revamped IEC or boycott the upcoming elections. The upcoming elections may represent PDOIS' best opportunity to demonstrate popular support for the party and boycotting the election may be a hard pill to swallow. But my party of Liberty, Dignity, and Prosperity is indeed grand. PDOIS is a perennial force in Gambian geopolitics and I will feel honored if PDOIS considers the process in which victory is gained to be as significant as the victory itself. Indeed the process determines the flavor of the victory.

In the same vein, I wish to urge the NRP to consider its participation in the upcoming election and reject all temptations to vainglory. It may be that PDOIS and NRP may benefit from UDP's absence but such benefit absent an honest fight, will be indeed hollow. It will never be formidable enough to challenge the APRC/ncp alliance's devious machinations.
