Yes, at least Kaspersky A-V and McAfee does, so others should. You simply
go to the separate Eudora attachment folder and delete the offending
attachment. Also of course delete the letter as well.

Occasionally you might get the odd well-constructed virus that refuses to
be deleted in the normal way---at worst you might have to open the
attachment folder in dos and delete from there.
