I have read that article in the past.  Notice how it says that no fixes
are being worked on.  Therefore, one may presume that if you want to solve
the problem, you can either use a workaround or you can upgrade to
something newer than Win98ME.

I have 512 megabytes of physical SDRAM in my system, but I have it limited
in the MSCONFIG utility to 480 megabytes.  Limiting it to 510 didn't do
any good, so I decided to go down in multiples of 32.

I don't recall getting any out of memory errors, but that may be because
I'm having to reboot so often to get Agent 1.8 to launch, or to solve an
incessant problem with Windows Explorer wanting to "take breaks" every
time I create a directory or delete a file.
