<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> I've seen mention on this list of people who use their pizza stones for just about all their baking. I'm wondering how this is accomplished... When I bake pizza, I preheat the stone like I'm supposed to, but in order to get the pizza ON it, I have to half cook it on my decrepit metal pan that I formed it in, then I can top it and slide it onto the stone. What I can't figure out is how to do this with, say, cookies? Or flatbreads (never tried these)? I'm looking for how people use their stones... Also, if you come across a stone pie pan, BUY IT. It's made out of the same stone as the pizza stones, and makes a perfect crust with all the different pastry recipes I've tried. Definately a quality investment, although for the life of me, I can't remember where I found it... -Meredith _______________ Meredith Johnson
