Mr. Jasseh Conteh, I am a keen reader of your postings and believe me, I was impressed by it especially your stance on the mess the afprc/aprc has inflicted on the Gambian people since july 1994. However since the repealing of decree 89, which I believe was as a result of the combined efforts of all opposition forces in and outside The Gambia who are committed to democracy combined with pressure from the intrnational community, and the subsequent formation of a qualition of GPP/PPP/UDP, you completely blindfolded yourself to the continued atrocities committed by the aprc regime on The Gambian people and concentrate all your efforts in critising the coalition for the simple reason that it was not lead by Mr. S M Dibba. Do you realise that since the formation of the ncp in 1995 to date Mr. Dibba never recognised anyboddy's leadership except Yaya Jammeh, who made sure he was kept silent for seven good years while the rest of the Gambia including his own dieheart supporters were crying for want of a leader? It was Lawyer Ousainou Darboe and the UDP who sacrificed his life and confort for them and provided a united platform, the UDP, on which GPP, NCP and PPP for the first time in the history of Gambian politics came together as one family with one aim and that is to unseat Yaya Jammeh and restor democracy which was burried six feet deep by the afprc/aprc since july 22 1994. Lawyer Darboe shall never retreat nor surrender for there is a lot to be done before october 18 when all Gambians shall be free from dictatorship.
