Paul ,

Apartheid  was defeated by the South African people with the help of the international community.

Senegal and Cape  Verde likewise changed their respective leaderships with the help of the international community.  Nothing happens in isolation.  We live in an interdependent world.

With rogues like the APRC and an inept and partisan CHAIRPERSON as the head of the IEC, Gambians need outsiders to witness our electoral process in the name of fairness. Unlike the APRC, most of us trust and have faith in our compatriots. In the end if there is nothing untoward, why  the objection?
