the problem will come later with the high colestorol. after age 30 this kind of food will probably be a no no, but, right now, first things first. get his weight up. todays problems are enough. in this case let tomarrow wait on tomarrow. -----Original Message----- From: Joanne Darr [mailto:[log in to unmask]] Sent: Thursday, August 30, 2001 7:43 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: Muscle fatigue Ok another question for all of you. Seems like many of you men have a high cholestrol problem. Alex is only 6 1/2 yrs old ( and weighs 37 pounds) but with his spastic quad CP it's hard to put weight on him. In fact he had a gtube from 18 months till he was 4yrs old. The solution is butter, cream, icecream etc,in other words lots of high fat additions to his diet.I know his doc's have pooh-poohed me on this worry but his dad's side has the majority of it;s mean dying of cardiac arrest at young ages or with multiple by-pass surgeries. So how do i fatten my kid up and not put him at risk?
