Hi Richard,

I'm wondering if you're trying to be too strict on the low carb days then
losing it on the "cheat" days.

I tend to do that sometimes too and when I've been low carb for a few days,
I tend to get cravings for sweet things. Quite often I lose the plot and eat
lots of choccies and cake. Of course I feel lousey for it.!!

What works better for me is if I don't try to be too strict on the low carb
part of the diet. Stay paleo and avoid sugar and potatoes (therefore fries!)
but have more veggies like carrots or parsnip, something with more carbs.
That way, I don't get the boom and bust extremes.

I think, maybe, that the desserts at the weekend and the odd steal of fries
will be keeping the weight on you.

I've been battling with the sugar cravings for a while. I've been taking
pills to ged rid of candida and that has helped a lot. I've also been taking
L-Glutamine now that the candida pills have finished and that seems to be
keeping the cravings at bay.

I hope that once I'm over the sugar addiction then I won't have the cravings
anymore.

Alison
