I'll let you know if loading the defaults works. Thanks, Joel If you have a known good boot floppy, and the CMOS is set to boot from A first, but it won't, then I suspect that the mobo port went bad. Infant mortality, since you say it is a new mobo, and a new floppy drive has been tried. One thing to try is to disconnect your hard disk, making floppy the only boot option. If you get a boot failure, then there is nothing wrong (likely) with your Windows installation, but it is a hardware problem. I assume the mobo is under warranty, take it back. -- Russ Poffenberger Engineering Specialist Schlumberger Technologies ATE DOMAIN: [log in to unmask] 150 Baytech Drive San Jose, Ca. 95134 Voice: (408)586-6718 FAX: (408)586-4675 Do you want to signoff PCBUILD or just change to Digest mode - visit our web site: http://freepctech.com/pcbuild.shtml
