Here's a food for thought: Anger Management Holding on to angry feelings takes not only an emotional toll on your heart, but it may take a physical toll on it, as well. In a study of people with chest pain, people who harbored feelings of anger were four times more likely to have unhealthy cholesterol values. They also were more likely to have a higher body mass index (BMI). Unhealthy cholesterol values and a high BMI are both associated with a greater risk of cardiovascular disease. Benefit: Taking care of your emotional health and well-being can make your real age up to 16 years younger. Cheers! George Sarr Courtesy of RealAge Health Magazine.
