Our keynote speaker will be Cynthia Rudert, M.D., F.A.C.P. of Roswell, Georgia. Dr. Rudert has one of the largest celiac practices in the United States. Her talk is entitled; "Updates in Celiac Disease - Get Your Questions Answered" Other speakers will be: Kent Adams, Ph.D., an exercise physiologist from the University of Louisville. He will speak on osteoporosis and weight bearing exercise; Christine Sager-Deeble, a local lay expert on the gluten-free/casein- free diet and mother of an autistic child. The title of her talk is "Why the Gluten-Free/Casein-Free Diet for Autism? A Mother's Experience"; Laurie Grimes, Ph.D., child psychologist and Mother of a child with celiac disease. The title of her presentation is "Emotional Issues for Children & Families R/T Chronic Disorders". There will be a one-hour question and answer period from 2-3:00 P.M.
