Kyle, I thought you would be interested to know,

just recently, the Pennsylvania Dept. of Education which took over PA's Chester-Upland school district, ranked last of 501 districts, just approved a group of three charter school companies to run the schools, competitively.  Two big companies each received about 45 % of the schools in Chester, while the third company took the remaining 10%, it may only be one elementary school.  All three companies are based in New York City.  I know teachers in Chester, and I'm excited to see the clean-up efforts really get under way in the city.  By the way, wish me luck for my job application with Philadelphia school district, I should get a letter next week!  Take care.
